Prominent shopping centre fahrenheit88 is currently hosting an art festival-like carnival entitled Spark + Art which will be held until the end of September. As the name implies, there will be quite an interesting array of art-related activities which will surely excite the art lover.
Earlier last month, there was a live demonstration by Takakurazome Kyoto held at the Pakramaya where he has been known for his splash art styles and some very interesting stamping methods. And then there is the Art of Coffee Making which will be held once each month at the Coffee Company. All you need to do is to purchase 2 coffee drinks and at an additional RM15, you can join a 2-hour session and be enthralled by the artistry of coffee-making.
For those of you who missed the demonstration, you can view the artwork of Takakurazome which is aimed to showcasing how shopping and art can be intertwined. This carnival is part of fahrenheit88s participation in the currently on-going 1MCAT (1Malaysia Contemporary Art Tourism) where it involves the tenants as well. Among them include a 10% discount on body or nail art from BeeBee Nail as well as up to 50% discount on selected art pieces at Oarts.
