The Urbanscapes festival has been an annual affair and has been one that promoted culture and arts, particularly among the urban and younger crowd since it started. This time around, Urbanscapes 2013 will continue to live up to its expectations where there will be a wide array of activities and big names lined up.
The most renowned names who will be gracing the stages of this years Urbanscapes would surely be Franz Ferdinand and Last Dinosaurs while others who have confirmed their participation include the likes of Kyoto Protocol, Damn Dirty Apes, Bihzhu, Tegan and Sara, Efterklang, Last Dinosaurs and popular local indie band Nice Stupid Playground, among many others.
If last years edition is anything to go by, then you can expect to have a really cool visual feast where there was display of art and crafts around the grounds while enjoying the music played live. After all, it is known as The Citys Creative Arts Festival and being the longest running festival of its kind here, there are surely a lot of high expectations to meet which will see the congregation of arts, design, film, music and others. Be sure to be there early to avoid missing out on the action with doors opening at 2.00pm on both days till late.
