MapKL is currently hosting a 3 artist show entitled Ape Cerita which means Whats the story? in Bahasa Malaysia. This show is currently on-going together with the Barricade festival which will be running into March. However, Ape Cerita will conclude on 23rd February 2013.
The group exhibition will involve Shieko Reto, Snozze and Bibi Chun who are 3 upcoming artists who are known for their works in graffiti and street art. They will be showcasing their own unique take and interpretations of issues of everyday life.
In Ape Cerita, the viewer will be entertained by the trios unique perception of what the surrounding issues are through their own unique style and techniques. After all, they are renowned in their own categories and very much established within the graffiti and street art scene.
Therefore, it will be an interesting exhibition by Bibi, Snozze and Shieko and truly a colourful and exciting exhibition which will surely entice the viewer and art lover to appreciate their body of work from a totally different perspective instead of the more conventional and commonly known art forms. Be there to enjoy the art while there will be other events at Barricade and the upcoming KLEX Film Festival.
