The Interpr8 Art Space in Publika is currently holding an art exhibition as part of the events of the Cooler Lumpur festival. The group exhibition is entitled ‘Art in the Search Words’ which will be involving the works of Chi Too, Halim Rahim, Lim Keh Soon, Sharon Chin, Zedeck Siew, Shahril Nizam and Haslin Ismail.

This exhibition seeks to achieve what many galleries had tried and failed, which is to interact with the audience. In fact, it goes to another bolder step by getting the audience to response. Curators of the show are Sharmin Parameswaran and Rachel Jena where the intention is to let the art speak back to the viewer and to have some sort of conversation. Sounds too good to be true?

The theme for the Cooler Lumpur festival is ‘Word’ and that forms the nucleus of this show. The 7 artists involved were told to produce artworks that were interactive or at least engage the audience into a 2-way communication.
According to the co-curator Sharmin, one of the aims of this show is to let the visitors know that art encompasses many areas and in includes those that are hung for display and those that makes the person think differently.

Opening Hours: Mondays to Saturdays: 11.00am to 7.00pm
