The Pelita Hati Gallery of Art is hosting a group art exhibition to commemorate the 50th Malaysia day celebrations. This show will involve some of the most remarkable art works from many emerging and established Malaysian artists today.
The show is part of the M50 art festival which is currently taking place in the country where many galleries are involved as part of the on-going Malaysia and Merdeka Day celebrations.
There will be a broad array of artworks on show that include mixed media, oil, watercolor, acrylic as well as photography works and video installation as well. This show seeks to feature the type of lifestyle Malaysians enjoy where there is freedom and peace all around.
The artists express their thoughts through their artworks where there is a sense of nostalgia told in stories that encircle around sub-themes and topics like landscape and nature, something Malaysia is very rich with.
This show is quite a walk down memory lane where the artists provide the audience with how they see Malaysia through their artistic senses. Hence, there are subject matters like architecture, sceneries and more prominently, Malaysias own local fruits and such, all of which are beautifully crafted into paintings, ceramics, photography and other media.
