The Muzium & Galeri Tuanku Fauziah in Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang is currently hosting a group exhibition entitled ‘2013 KSDT Malaysia International Design Exhibition’. This show will feature some of the most creative designs from Malaysian designers as well as others from the region. This design show will bring some very interesting artworks from 160 designers from the surrounding region that include China, India, Hong Kong, Korea and Saudi Arabia, among many others. On top of that, designers from the United States, United Kingdom, France and Germany are also involved.
It will quite an interesting art and design show in which it is sponsored by USMs own art gallery towards the biennial event from the International Korean Society of Design Trend 2012 Exhibition. This is a unique opportunity for anyone who likes art and design to learn more about the different design methods from practitioners across the world.
Traditionally, the biennial is held in Korea and this year, the sponsors has decided that they bring the exhibition to those outside the country and it will be an honour for USMs faculty of Arts and Design to host the exhibition which will be running for a month until the 22nd of March 2013. There will be an entrance fee of RM2 for children between 5 and 12 years of age and RM4 for adults.
