A group art exhibition entitled A New World See Through the Art of Dabbing is being hosted by the Indian Cultural Centre in Kuala Lumpur. This show will feature 11 artists who will be showcasing their interpretations of what the future of a new world would be like.
When a theme like that is being expressed through works of art, you will surely expect there to be images of fantasy, celestial beings and such. However, the artists have put together somewhat more realistic expressions which make it all the more interesting.
Organized by the Symbols House of Natural Art, there will be 21 artworks on show where the artists have showcased another facet of their creative side by writing poems instead of the usual synopsis and rationale to explain what their paintings are trying to say.
Among the artists who are involved in this show are Sathish Natarajan, who apart from painting indulges into film-making as well, Shyam Darshan, who has Down Syndrome, Seema Nanoo and many others, all of whom have given their own very unique interpretations of how they see the world now and beyond. The paintings are all for sale with price ranging between RM1,800 and RM12,000 depending on the artist and artwork.
Opening hours: Tuesdays to Saturdays: 11.00am to 7.00pm
