The Galeri Seni Mutiara in Penang will be hosting a 2-artist show entitled 1 Plus 1 Exhibition starting from the 27th of October at its Lebuh Armenian gallery.
The show will feature the works of Ng Kim Heoh and Tang Yeok Khang. The former is from Alor Setar while the latter is a local boy from Bukit Mertajam who will be showcasing their own respective artworks.
Ng holds a degree in Fine Arts from Universiti Sains Malaysia where she also completed her Master of Science in Information Technology. She has been involved with numerous group exhibitions with the latest being the X-Individuals the eXplorations at the Art Accent in Kuala Lumpur earlier this year as well as the 28th Asian International Art Exhibition in Bangkok with her rendition of still life and cityscape paintings.
Meanwhile, Tang holds a Diploma in Interior Design from MIA where his artworks have been collected by the National Portrait Gallery of Malaysia and the Penang State Art Gallery, among others while they were seen in his recent solo exhibition at Art Accent last year entitled Urban Stroller as seen in his more abstract works using figurines to depict his interpretations of the relations between human and the surrounding environment.
