The Pelita Hati Gallery of Art will be bringing a group exhibition entitled Subject of Dreams II which will be held between the 20th of April and the 18th of May 2013. This show will feature some very remarkable photography and prints form some of the most exciting photographers of Malaysia.
The group of artists and photographers will be showcasing their creative works that project this art form in a more conceptualized way instead of the more accepted and conventional styles which usually dwell into aesthetics and those that pleases the naked eye. The Subject of Dreams II exhibition will be featuring the works of artists like Ahmad Jaa, Faizal Joy, Hakimi Halim, Ikram Ismail, Mohd Azlan Mohd Latib, Syafiz Abdul Samat, Nazaruddin Abdul HAmed, Meor Hasmadi Hamzah, Hanif Omar, Firdaus Herrow and Ashraf Soharudin.
This show invites the audience to take on the role as witnesses of their becoming in which the artists draw upon their own methods of expressions. This is a deviation from the more usual and known methods that are usually associated with photography. They venture more into communicating through their images and art form and become more personal and intimate through their respective body of work.
