Taksu Kuala Lumpur will be hosting a group exhibition next month from the 29th August onwards. The show entitled Water will be featuring the works of a few very exciting artists around the region. 4 renowned artists from the continent will be grouped together to showcase their works and that is what the title is supposed to reflect. Water, the element that binds the land of the countries of the artists.
Malaysia is represented by Sabri Idrus, whose artwork is no stranger to the Malaysian art scene as well as in many countries overseas. Budi Agung Kuswara, fondly known as Kabul represents Singapore where he is based although he was born in Bali while the Philippines is represented by Jigger Cruz, one of the emerging and exciting artist from the neighbouring country while Indonesia is represented by I Made Arya Palguna.
This will surely be a truly exciting show especially with the various modes of expressions from the artists who bring with them a host of differential methods and techniques. As Taksus exhibition usually goes, there will be an eclectic mix of culture and tradition among the body of work and the similar theme would surely be an interesting platform for the art lover.
