The Westin in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur is hosting an art exhibition entitled Depth and Deception which will be held throughout the month of October. This show will feature the works of Danish painter Charlotte Donvang and Pakistani photographer Ahsan Qureshi.
Both the artists are working together to showcase the mantra of Depth and Deception through their own unique art form that blends 2 very different and yet related mediums.
There will be paintings by Charlotte through here creative play of colors in her own abstract form while Ahsan is a digital artist who uses imaginative photography techniques. The show explores some very interesting genre where it goes deep into who we thought we are and the disappointment and pain of discovering otherwise.
This exhibition showcases a somewhat innovative series of work which invoke the thoughts of the audience, drawing what is seen and what is around us. Charlotte calls herself an intuitive artist whose aim is to make the audience stop and think through her works while Ahsan indulges a lot into creative photography in his free time when he is not at work as a full time commercial photographer. The works are for sale where 15% of all proceeds will be donated to the Darul Kifayah orphanage.
