The Ilham Gallery is hosting a group show entitled ‘Love Me in My Batik’. This show will surely be very true to Malaysians as it involves more than 70 artists who have produced art using this traditional weaving method in their body of work since the 1950s. Batik has often been associated with Malaysia’s culture and an integration of it with Malaysian art is surely one which should not be missed.
