Located at Art Row in Publika, where there is always a lot of artistic events and shows is an interesting photography show by chi too. The full name of the show is actually The Artist chi too looks At Artworks As He Contemplates the State of the Nations Institutions a.k.a. How Can You Be Sure.
The show is presented by OUR ArtProjects and as the name implies it is actually about chi too going around looking at the art on display cross-dressing in the turquoise secondary school girls pinafores.
This show depicts some of the instances chi too captured on photograph in the school uniform as he wanders around Publika and posing at artworks that were on displayed recently during the Selamat Hari Malaysia M50 show which was co-organized by the National Visual Arts Gallery and MAP KL.
The series of photographs on show at How Can You Be Sure seemed a bit comical and have its lighter moments although it did present a strong message, particularly about a piece of artwork which was removed during the M50 show which made headlines. The props used by chi too (like the pinafore and the name tag) were given by fellow artist Yee I-Lann.
Opening hours: Mondays to Sundays 12.00pm to 6.00pm
