The G13 Gallery is hosting a unique art exhibition which comes in the form of 2 concurrent solo exhibitions. The 2 exhibitions will involve the works of Hamdan Sharaani, one of the most renowned local veteran artist and Indonesian Kenyem.
The 2 shows are held in the 2 gallery spaces at this popular space and is part of the earlier efforts by G13 that brings together art from both Malaysian and Indonesia. Apart from showcasing artworks like paintings and such, there were also dialogues and other related events.
This show aims to create better ties in a common language and to create more awareness and appreciation for the natural environment which are the themes of both the artists. Although they are form different eras and backgrounds, their love for Mother Nature are the similarity between them, producing some very compelling art for everyone to see.
This is an interesting show which will demonstrate the techniques of both the artists and their unique forms of expression. It is not often that such a unique art exhibition comes along that display 2 very distinctive styles but bonded by a similar objective to create more awareness and love for the natural environment surrounding us.
