The Galeri Seni Mutiara at the Whiteways Arcade in Penang will be holding a solo exhibition by Lim Su Wah between the 9th and 30th December 2012. This will feature the latest works of Lim following the good response at her last 2-woman show held at ArtSeni earlier this year. The exhibition is entitled Creative Colours where as the name implies will feature the works of Lim and her strong interplay of colours using mixed media on surfaces like canvas and paper.
Mr Lee Khai will be gracing the opening of Creative Colours which will take place at 6.00pm on the 9th of December. Lim was born in Taipei in Taiwan and is currently based in Penang where she recently set up her own art studion. She is married to Quah It Hoong where they have travelled and lived in China, Singapore as well as in Malaysia. It was between 2006 to 2008 that Lim had studied Chinese ink paintings and some western styles under a few renowned Chinese artists that she discovered her signature works today where she participated in several group shows ever since. Her most recent works were seen at the Two Angels: Two Women Art Show at ArtSeni while Creative Colours will showcase some of her most remarkable works to date.
