Solo Exhibition: A Story: A Walk through Japan in Autumn – 6th April 2013 – 28th April 2013

One of the most exciting recently established art galleries, The Print Room will be hosting a story telling exhibition by Alex Chan Khee Tiam. The solo show will be featuring some of his photography works which will be seen through a story telling style that is very passionate about his techniques which he regards fondly as art, unlike many others today who takes it as a hobby or for beauty’s sake. It is not every day that one gets to see the works of a photographer who takes this passion as seriously as Alex does.

The exhibition will showcase Alex’s experience during his travels in Japan where he was exposed to the vibrant colours of the country and its culture. His first time in Japan was in 2007 where after being attracted by its sceneries and landscapes, decided to return in 2008 and this time it was all to capture the beauty and wonders of autumn in Japan. He brought his camera with him and took his time to capture the essence of this place and it surroundings through is unique art form.
Throughout the entire journey, he discovered a lot more about Japan than he thought he knew while he went through several unforgettable experiences like getting lost in the woods, overcoming his fear of heights and meeting interesting people along the way.
