Tew Nai Tong is one of the most renowned and established Malaysian artists. Born in 1936 and comes from Klang, he is perhaps one of the most distinguished artists who have showed his highly unique body of work to the world through his own interpretations of the local traditions in his creative paintings. Hence, the PinkGuy Gallery will be hosting a solo exhibition of Nai Tongs works entitled Glories and will be one of the shows in the art scene to kick of the new calendar year.
The show will be featuring the artists experiences in his travels and will surely be exuding the way he paints the figures and images that has made him one of the most interesting artists of this time. After all, his works have come a long way through his 5-decade long art career. Nai Tong studied Fine Arts at the highly prestigious Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore as well as at the Ecole National Supervieure Des Beaux-Art and today, the world can see just how far his art has come about through the Glories show. Most evidently, his paintings will feature his signature expressions of the phoenix eyes in his latest works.
