One of the latest additions to the local art scene, The Edge Galerie will be hosting the solo exhibition of Dr Jolly Koh, one of the most renowned and well-known Malaysian artists of our time. The show is entitled Towards the Nebula which will be held through September at the gallerys art space in Mont Kiara.
The name Jolly Koh is surely no stranger to the Malaysian art scene as this artists is one who is very accomplished and very illustrious having held shows both in the local and international markets for decades now.
Koh is one of the most exciting contributors of art in our local scene and at the age of 72, his works have continued to amaze art lovers, immersing them into an imaginary world that he so wonderfully expresses.
For this show, Koh is showcasing some of his best works that he has done over the past few years and that is just fitting for the inaugural solo exhibition of the new gallery. As the name implies, there will be inspiration of celestial elements and that is one of the realms that Koh is usually so well accustomed to. Expect a wide variety of wonderfully fused colors interlaying with his unique blend of techniques and methods.
