The Shalini Ganendra Fine Art is presenting the latest works of renowned contemporary artist Zac Lee. The show is entitled When Come Spring? and it is somewhat the continuation of Zacs earlier shows in Shalini Ganendra.
This time around, Zac will be offering more stories and narratives through his unique body of work. This show will be showcasing 11 paintings using oil on jute and it will be addressing his thoughts through his previous shows Truth & Dare and Conversations in Yellow and Blue held in 2011 and 2012 respectively also at this space.
Using a combination of a question and a statement as the title for the show, there is a certain humour to Zacs work which has been known for his precise painting style. The impeccable details of his paintings will surely be a sight to behold while the audience is entertained through his unique expressions and story-telling style of each painting, all of which are carefully painted for a specific reason. Zacs work has never been too abstract until the meaning gets lost in translation and that is the very signature of this artist who has brought out some of the most exciting artworks seen in recent times.
