As the name implies, the Eco Films Festival 2011 will be one which is filled with film screenings.
So you can expect to be feasted with many movies that dwell on the issue of Environment and such during this time
The objective of this event is to help to create awareness and to spread the message to the Malaysian public on environmental issues as well as any possible solutions through the film media as the channel of communications.
This would surely be one of the most innovative and contemporary ways to seek the approval and acknowledgment of the public on issues like these where many other efforts have failed.
Most of the films which will be screened during the festival will bring the message of the importance of conservation and preservation but that would not be all as there would also be talks and dialogues involved that dwell into these issues as well.
Among some of the films which are scheduled for the event include ‘Food Matters’ which is a documentary. ‘Alma’, ‘Green’ and ‘The West in the East’ are also some of the titles which will be screened during the festival.
The event is scheduled to take place from October 28 to October 30 2011 and will be held at the Dataran Tunku Canselor in University Malaya in Kuala Lumpur.
