Scheduled to be held from October 28 to November 1 2011 at the Matrade Exhibition & Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur, the International Art Expo 2011 is one of the most anticipated events in the Malaysian art calendar. This is because, the expo, which have been run for many years now have provided the platform for many galleries from across Malaysia and the region to promote their work among individuals and corporations not only from Malaysia but also from other surrounding countries as well.
The Expo is where one is able to walk through the numerous rows of exhibitor’s makeshift galleries of artwork which are displayed to promote art and their artists.
All types of media will be seen at the Expo where one could appreciate paintings, sculptures, installations and such from artists around the world. On top of that, it is also a place where galleries are able to expand their network of collectors and to educate the public about what they can offer.
It is also at this Expo that many aspiring artists are able to find contacts of galleries from the region to represent them. There will be a wide range of related activities planned up as well.
