The ArtSeni Gallery in Lot 10 Shopping Centre is currently holding the ‘Sepuluh Dah: Iranian Artists Exhibition’. Located on the fourth floor of the shopping mall, the show will run until 15 June 2012 and this will be the show that will bring together some of the emerging and established Iranian artists that will showcase their artwork to the Malaysian public.
Where else could one find a place that will see a congregation of works of so many Iranian artists then at a gallery in the centre of culture of Kuala Lumpur?
The artists involved in the show include Anahita Ghazanfari, Mina Hedayat, Pegah Jahangiri, Fathollah Marzban, Bahador Moayer, Hanieh Mohammad Bagher, Hamid Pourbahrami, Elnaz Rostami, Zahra Shahidi and Asghar Yaghoubi.
You will be welcomed with different types of art work from the participating artists who will be feasting your art appreciation along the likes of Persian culture, tradition and most importantly arts. Subject matter used by the Iranian artists can be a healthy break away from the usual art that you might have seen in Malaysian art and you can be sure to enjoy some of the most different artworks around.
Mythology, ancient civilization, legends and some on women rights are depicted by the artists at the show. Apart from that, you will find that the artistic influence among Iranian artists can be very different in that they adopt different colour interplay as well as the painting of their subject matter and issues and this would be one event you would not want to miss.
