The Museum of Asian Art is housed within the premises of University Malaya, the oldest public university in Malaysia which is set up to promote and educate Malaysians on the beauty and inspiring works of Asian art. Here is where one would be able to appreciate and view the collection of art work from artists from the past and present from around the region. There are crafts, culture and traditions for one to appreciate and this include the likes of textile, basketry and such. Works are also sourced from India as well as from the Middle East while China and Japan too are involved, among others.
