Port Commune is a new art space that came up not too long ago in Petaling Jaya. Housed within an old factory warehouse, this is an old building given a makeover that has been around since the 1960s. Port Commune got its name from PORT which means People of Remarkable Talent. Since it was opened, it has become an exciting space used to showcase the best of arts from Malaysia and beyond. This includes exhibitions like ‘Framing the Common: Kuala Lumpur’ which attracted a lot of audience when it was organized within this environment of industrial factories and warehouses.
