WhiteBox is one of the two main galleries operating in MapKL in Publika. Since opening its doors, WhiteBox has been offering a wide range of events and exhibitions that has helped to grow the Malaysian art scene tremendously.
Alternative art space
As a modern art space, WhiteBox provides an up and coming alternative for artists from different fields to exhibit their works. This is where WhiteBox has been imperative in offering the space and platform for them to showcase the visual arts while not being limited only to 2-D arts.
Apart from these exhibitions, WhiteBox has been used for many other types of events. As it is primarily a space for arts and culture, the events that are selected to be held here are all related to these disciplines. This includes performance arts, auctions and such. Meanwhile, WhiteBox has previously been used for concerts, seminars, workshops and even for community bazaars too.
