Public Art Trust Singapore – Art in the City

The Public Art Trust (PAT) is an initiative by the National Arts Council (NAC) to make art a part of our urban spaces and bring art closer to Singaporeans. It aims to achieve this by commissioning new public art in spaces where we live, work and play.

PUBLIC ART

Public art can take various forms, from permanent to temporary manifestations of an artist’s creative process. More importantly, the conception and premise of the artwork is rooted deeply in the public sphere where it is widely visible and freely accessible to all.

Check out the exciting public artworks.

ARTISTS

Public art is the approach toward art making that is defined and shaped by artists, working with and within the public domain. It is a place of enquiry and experimentation where artists can respond to specific public spaces and engage the community in novel and interesting ways.
