The Galeri Seni Mutiara is hosting a solo show entitled Nostalgic Penang. It will feature the works of Louis Gan through his exemplary watercolor techniques. The artist born with hearing impaired has been painting since a very young age but his hearing difficulties caused him much hardship in learning art. However, Louis persisted and won the Japanese-Malaysian Junior Art Competition when he was 16 and has been involved with several group shows ever since.
