George Town, the capital of northern state Penang is set to play host to yet another mega festival and this time it is the In-Between Arts Festival. The 3 day event will be running in several venues around the city which will encompass programmes, events, exhibitions in the music, art and fashion industries. The In-Between Arts Festival is named as such because it is being held between the George Town Literary Festival and the Penang Island Jazz Festival where the Gurney Paragon will be the opening act.
There will also be workshops being run on photography, dance, songwriting and others in The Learning Series programme while artists will also be visiting places like Bangkok Lane and the Gurney Drive Food Court in the Art in our Living Quarters event. It would be a festival like no other as practitioners from various types of arts would come together and showcase their talented works to the enthusiasts in the state and the surrounding region which include performances by Bihzhu, Jerome Kugan and Viva Circus, all of whom would be giving their shows throughout the 3 days respectively. Other events set to take place at the In-Between Arts Festival include Jo Tehs Green & Fashion Installation project.
