The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (klpac) will be hosting the Borak Art Series Arts Conference this coming 15th and 16th June with the theme ‘Building Sustainability in Arts’. This will be quite an cutting-edge event which will draw the general Malaysian public to understand the eco-system of the arts industry and the different types of roles played out by the public and private sectors.
There will be some talks by key leaders not only within the arts industry but in the business fields too. Involvement by artists, curators, critics and art scholars from both the local and international art scenes will be congregating at this 2-day festival.
The Borak Arts Series will be focusing on the efforts and creative management of the performing arts and its related fields which will be featuring some very constructive dialogues, debates and networking sessions for all concerned within the performing arts. This will be a great event for all those who are interested and enthusiastic about the arts industry and not only to those in performing arts as this is a discipline that transcends all types of visual creativity. There will be an RM100 admission fee each that will include a Tea Networking Session which will surely expand your contacts and coverage with those who are in this industry.
