Solo Show – Gestures – a Tribute to Cobra – 1st October 2014 – 30th November 2014

The Aswara Gallery is hosting a solo art exhibition entitled ‘Gestures – A Tribute to Cobra’ which will be featuring the works of Malaysian contemporary artist Suzlee Ibrahim. This show pays tribute to Cobra, the internationally acclaimed avant-garde art group where the name was derived from COpenhangen, Brussels and Amsterdam, the names of their home cities. Suzlee had previously spent time in Denmark and this show is curated by Inge-Marie Holst, a Danish art collector based in Kuala Lumpur.
