The Art Gallery in Penang will be presenting a 2-artist show in March. This show will be featuring the works of 2 of Malaysias most established artists which is why it is entitled The Art of Khaw Sia and Kuo Ju Ping.
There will be more than 60 pieces of works that will be on show from the 2 late artists who have been instrumental in the shaping of the Malaysian art scene in the last few decades. There will be a 368-page monograph launch on the day of the opening and that will be a great collection for those who like the works of these two artists. The publication is priced at RM120 per copy while those who buy any of the paintings will receive a complimentary copy of the monograph.
The works of Khaw Sia and his still life paintings would have captivated anyone who views his artwork at any time as such techniques and methods will never grow old or out-of-date. Meanwhile, the works of Kuo Ju Ping and his watercolor-fine strokes will be the perfect educational platform for young artists and art lovers to obtain the best reference point on what a real watercolor painting should be like. Prices of the artworks range from RM3,000 to RM10,000.
