Artemis Art will be hosting a group exhibition entitled Prologue which will be a group show that will showcase the works of 6 young and emerging Malaysian artists. They are final year students who are pursuing their Fine Art degrees at the University Teknologi Mara (UiTM) in Shah Alam.
The artists form the Intuitive Art Group who are Azimuddin Abd Manaf, Mohd Hanif Hafiz, Nik Mohd Hazri Nik Shairozi, Nur Fiqah Mohd Qari, Zaimuddin Aziz and Zharif Hazwan Badrudin.
As the name implies, Prologue marks the start for the promising artists into their own art careers where there will be a collection of very unique and original body of work from each of them. The works that are on show feature the way they see the world around them and thereby express through their own artistic styles. The event will be graced by Mr Rahman Amin, a lecturer with the universitys Faculty of Art and Design and a renowned artist himself.
With a collection of different topics like environmental pollution, child abuse and culture, Prologue has been selected to be part of the Satu Pameran Untuk Semua (One Exhibition for All) project organized by the National Visual Art Gallery (Balai Seni Visual Negara).
