Nando’s Chicken has been one of the major advocates of them Malaysian art scene especially with their recent ‘Peri-Fy your Art’ initiative where they brought out some of the most remarkable and compelling artworks among students in Malaysia.
Hence, as part of this initiative, they have announced that new dishes will be introduced while their outlets will be refurbished accordingly. Mac Chung Lynn, the Chief Executive Officer of Nando’s said that their KLCC in Kuala Lumpur and Queensbay Mall in Penang would be the first 2 outlets to be refurbished with others set to follow. The signature rustic feel will still be evident while they will also be displaying the artworks from the Peri-Fy Your Art competition.
This is all done to provide a more unique and unforgettable dining experience for its customers while there will be new dishes and new crockery offered. In fact, their menu designs were derived from the inspiration of Roy Lichtenstein and Pablo Picasso, 2 of the greatest masters of all time.
Lichtenstein is of course the renowned pop art icon while Picasso is very much a name synonymous with art for decades. Among the new additions in the menu are the wing roulette, chicken breast burger and the chicken wrap among many others. Apart from that, there would be also offerings for vegetarians like the healthy veggie wrap. With initiatives and exposure like these undertaken by Nando’s they can surely expect a bigger participation from students and young artists in their next Peri-fy your Art editions.
