Norleen Nosri

Norleen Nosri is a Malaysian born artist who comes from Klang in Selangor in 1978. She studied at the Kelana Jaya Primary School and then went on to the Sri Aman Secondary School.

Norleen Nosri is a Malaysian born artist who comes from Klang in Selangor in 1978. She studied at the Kelana Jaya Primary School and then went on to the Sri Aman Secondary School. She would then studied TOEFFL at Taylor’s College before heading out to the United States to study at Columbia College and then to the University of Missouri-Columbia. There she finished her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Ceramics and established herself as one of the few ceramics artist in Malaysia.

As a ceramics artist, she has been actively involved with producing these art works where she has been involved with the Ceramic Arts Instructor Access Arts for children as well as an instructor for the Craft Studio Brady Common University of Missouri. She was also the event organizer for the ‘Ikebana: Expression of Nature through Flowers and Ceramics’ show at the Artist Boone Historical Society Columbia in Missouri.

Norleen Nosri’s Exhibitions

Among her exhibitions include the Boone County Bank B.C. Ceramics Show Invitational show in 2003, the “Cultural Kaleidoscope Invitational Exhibition” at the Columbia Art League, the Columbia Photo B.C. Ceramics Show Invitational organized by the Columbia Photo and Electronics as well as the “Ellis Library Ceramics Show featuring Yukari Kashihara, Norleen Nosri, and Joe Walls Ellis Library” at the University of Missouri-Columbia in the United States.
