A solo art exhibition featuring the works of renowned Malaysian artist Rafiee Ghani is being held at the 69 Fine Art Gallery. The show will be held throughout the month of October where there will be 9 artworks from Rafiee, one of the most prominent contemporary fine artists of the Malaysian art scene. The 69 Fine Art Gallery is among the recent galleries to join the Malaysian art scene, having opened its doors in June this year.
An artist who rides on the fauvism and expressionism movements, Rafiees printmaking techniques is known to be among the best and unique in the industry. After all, he is a trained expert in the techniques of print-making where he uses this knowledge to his advantage. The holder of a Diploma in Art and Design from Institute Teknologi MARA and Masters in Fine Prints from the Manchester Metropolitan University, Rafiees body of work has been exhibited and collected in many renowned galleries in the local and global art scenes.
As the name implies, this will be a show that exudes interaction where it involves his unique play of colors using his son Hassan as the main subject matter for the works that started around 2008 and 2009.
