One of Malaysias prominent art galleries, Core Design Gallery will be hosting a group exhibition entitled the Great Malaysian Contemporary Art (GMCA) Show at this years edition of the Malaysian Art Expo set for this coming September. With such an ambitious title, the show will surely be equally as ambitious and it will not disappoint any art lovers and enthusiasts who can see the works in Booth 52 of the Expo.
Holding the show at the expo would be rightfully fitting where it will be the first time in history that Core Design Gallery will be gathering some of the most exciting Malaysian contemporary artists together.
The artists selected for this historic event are some very established and renowned Malaysian artists who have already made their names in the art scene. They include Ahmad Fuad Osman, Anuar Rashid, Eng Hwee Chu, Fadhli Yusoff, Hamir Soib, Haslin bin Ismail, Husin Hourmain, Mohd Noor Mahmud, Muthalib Musa, Shooshie Sulaiman, Tan Chin Kuan and Zulkifli Yusoff.
With such a strong lineup, one can expect nothing less than the best where there will be the exemplary paintings to the organic sculptures of Muthalib as well as installation works from some of the most remarkable artists of our time.
