Born in 1959 in Dungun of Kuala Terengganu, Chang Fee Ming is a Malaysian fine artist whose body of work has been exhibited in various public and private galleries not only from within Malaysia but also abroad. His first solo exhibition cam in 1987 when he showcased his works at the GaleriCitra in Kuala Lumpur in a show appropriately called “Chang Fee Ming: First Solo Exhibition”. Apart from that, he was also the few artists who had the opportunity to hold a solo exhibition at the widely renowned and prestigious Galeriwan when he put out his ‘2nd Chapter’ show there. Apart from Malaysia, Chang also has had solo exhibitions in Jakarta at the Centre for Strategic & International Studies and at the KomanNeka Fine Art Gallery in Bali.
Chang Fee Ming’s Exhibitions
One of Chang’s most notable achievement as an artist was when his works had a touring solo exhibition through to Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia. Apart from that, he also had shows in China, Singapore and other countries. His early works were seen at the Young Contemporary Artists Exhibitions organized by the National Art Gallery in 1982 as well as the National Open Art Exhibition, which were 2 of the events which he was constantly involved in.
